Thanks Skoopy.com for the thousands of hits. My fun posts seems to be more popular than my financial posts. That is because I suck at picking stocks short term.

A Toast of Champagne to My Friends, A Toast of Pain to my Sham Friends
Thanks uniquedaily.com for all the referrals. Funny stuff over there.
I was reading through the stats of Tale of the Tape (sorry I read other people's sitemeter to find other good blogs) and I came across FlyOnTheWall. He has my sense of humor. I especially liked one of his disclaimers. "If you buy this stock you probably will lose money and get a flat tire" Definitely worth a click.
Try this game. Very Very Hard. At first in french. Just hit Big Button to start.
Don't smoke dope and go to this site. Better yet just don't smoke dope.

Fastest Money Blog Writer on the Internet

I believe I am the fastest finisher this year in the Financial Blog World but this can't be verified. I beat last years' time by 15 minutes. I'm going to train a bit harder after a three week rest as I need to run 3:15 to qualify for Boston and I have a 34 mile race coming up next summer. I am going to eat as much ice cream as I can until that time.
Money Origami

I watched a guy do some origami the other day and was amazed at what could a simple piece of paper could be turned in to (see other post). I decided I like money much more so I prefer money origami. Here are some reasons why money origami is better. (I borrowed some of this from another site on the net and can't find the link where I got it. Sorry protectors of all content as I am a thief and can not give credit to the original writer)
1. Paper money is always (well, sometimes) readily available especially at parties and in bars
2. It is already cut to shape.
3, The paper is of excellent quality for folding.
4. The rectangular shape of banknotes is a challenge for creative folding.
5. Folded money makes excellent tips.
6. Banknotes carry a printed pattern and words, so that it is a challenge to create a fold which makes use of the word and pattern in meaningful
7. People watching are simply amazed.
8. It allays boredom.
9. Bravado, especially if the banknote is of high value.
10. If a banknote is folded and given away, it presents the recipient with the exquisite dilemma of saving the fold and effectively losing the value of the money or of unfolding the model and losing the model itself.
All Made from One Sheet of Paper
I am not easily impressed when it comes to art. This impresses me. Thanks
Rusty for the sending it to me. Truly incredible. Each piece of art was made from one sheet of paper. All the cut-outs you see were used to make the objects in each photo. The artist is Peter Callessen

Team Shane

One day until the Marathon. Drink and peeing like a racehorse trying to hydrate for the race. I don't think that will be as much a big deal as all my other marathons as it is only going to be 35 degrees or so. Taking the video camera to get some footage for the site and maybe something for Wallstrip. We'll see how I feel. My shirt says

Steve Wynn Puts Elbow Through $138 Million Picasso
Pablo Picasso's "dream" painting has turned into a $139 million nightmare for Steve Wynn.
In an accident witnessed by a group that included Barbara Walters and screenwriters Nora Ephron and Nicholas Pileggi, Wynn accidentally poked a hole in Picasso's 74-year-old painting, "Le Reve," French for "The Dream."
A day earlier, Wynn had finalized a record $139 million deal for the painting of Picasso's mistress, Wynn told The New Yorker magazine
The accident occurred as a gesturing Wynn, who suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, an eye disease that affects peripheral vision, struck the painting with his right elbow, leaving a hole the size of a silver dollar in the left forearm of Marie-Theresa Walter, Picasso's 21-year-old mistress.
"Oh shit, look what I've done," Wynn said, according to Ephron, who gave her account in a blog published on Monday.
Wynn paid $48.4 million for the Picasso in 1997 and had agreed to sell it to art collector Steven Cohen. The $139 million would have been $4 million higher than the previous high for a work of art, according to The New Yorker. to continue reading story

It's Official It's a Bull Market and I Can Prove It

Here's how I prove it. I believe that Google can be used to search for trends in certain things using their GOOGLETRENDS analyzer. I like at retail stores growth using this by seeing if their searches have gone up or down. I use it for a million different things. I recently typed in the two queries "bull market vs. bear market" and the graph is too the left. It's more than ironic that ther queries are related to the actual sentiment of the market. Look at how many more searches were done during the bear market summer and look how bull market rose to take over the searches in Sept. More than fun in games, it shows real trends. Go to Google Trends to See a LARGE graph or use the trends. Guarantee you'll start using it. Let me know how it goes.
The Ultimate Steve Jobs Autograph

Man would I love to have this. My father is probably the biggest Apple fan of all time. This would be the best gift I could ever give to him and autographed ROM chip by Steve Jobs. Picture better if clicked. more about the chip and how he got it at ComputerHistory.
