Biz Babes: Ivanka Trump

The Don's daughter is one of the premier babes in the business world.

Her father, the guy everyone wearing a tie thinks they can impersonate -the Donald Trump - made his billions in well executed real estate maneuvers. His 'Trump Tower' buildings have become landmarks in the many cityscapes stand out in. Although he disputes his Forbes net-worth estimate, he is still pretty high on the list as the 117th richest person in the world with $3.0 Billion.

None of that makes any difference to Ivanka though, because she claims she isn't some spoiled rich girl comparable to Paris Hilton. In an interview in 2007 she responded to those comparisons by saying:
“I work 13-hour days for my money,” the 25-year-old former model, who now works for dad Donald’s business, told the London Express. “I bought my house from my father — I have a mortgage, you know.”
And although I doubt Ivanka has a mortgage like many of the high-interest subprime mortgages most people in our country battle with monthly, I will give her credit for actually doing stuff.

She even attended an Ivy League School, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in real estate from UPenn's Wharton School of Business. Not something you can buy without having some modicum of intelligence.

Don't forget that she's gorgeous too. According to Chickipedia.com, Ivanka is 5'11", boasting measurements of 36 - 24 - 34. She was once a premier fashion model with Versace too, before going into the family real estate business.

Her Forbes.com profile lists her as:
26 years old and currently serving as a Class I Director of the Trump Organization Board since August 1, 2007. Ms. Trump is the Vice President of Development and Acquisitions of the Trump Organization LLC, a position she has held since September 2005. From September 2004 to September 2005, Ms. Trump was a Project Manager in the Retail Development division of Forest City Ratner Companies.
Ivanka is currently launching the Ivanka Trump Collection, any piece of which would make a ridiculously expensive gift of jewelry for your girlfriend. Better bust out one of these bad boys when you've really f'ed up.

Here's some other good news for anyone out there trying to decide which billionaire heiress businesswoman to stalk - Ivanka is great with creeps. Interested in getting down to business with Ivanka, let knows in the comments section. May she reads this site?

Biz Babes: Newscorp's Youngest Board Member

The winning formula of adding young and attractive women to his staff, has served Rupert Murdoch well in the past. He keeps that gravy train rolling, even if that means painfully under-qualified major corporation board members.

Last month's issue of Portfolio magazine gave us a first glimpse at the 27-year-old opera singer who became the youngest board member for Murdoch' s Newscorp.

Newcorp, the world's largest media conglomerate, owns Fox News, Business, 20th Century, etc. and continues to expand its empire. After acquiring the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones & Co., two of the most well-known business news sources, Murdoch was required to put a member of the Bancroft Family (the former owners) on the new board of directors. Enter: Natalie Bancroft.

Natalie Bancroft, one of the youngest members of the fam, is currently training to be a professional opera singer in Milan. She has no prior business or journalism experience, but says she will 'work her little butt off' to figure out what the hell is going on.

She'll be in good hands though, because she is by far the most inexperienced compared to her fellow board members. They include a former prime minister of Spain, an assistant U.S. attorney general, CEOs of major banks, and Murdoch's very own 36-year-old son, Lachlan. Maybe he and Natalie could discuss a potential merger? Bow-chikka-wow-wow.

She's also currently taking a journalism class to get the gist of things in the business news world. Does sitting on the board of a well-respected international media syndicate get covered in the Journalism 101 textbooks? Oh yeah, you're right, probably after the midterm exam.

The Bancrofts are a pretty secretive family, and as such photos of them on the beach, in the shower, etc. are hard to come by. Anyone found any good shots of young Natalie or her mother Joyce Bancroft, who was supposedly a 'Dutch-Brazilian model', at leisure?

Let us know in the comments if you think Rupert Murdoch's new appointment was a slick move, or creepy in a perverted uncle type of way.

Biz Babes: Citigroup's Dominatrix

She went from being a little known analyst to becoming the voice Wall Streeters fear the most.

Meredith Whitney, an analyst with Oppenheimer & Co., made the gutsy call of blasting Citigroup (owners of Citi Bank) in an October report. At the time, other analysts did not agree with her take on Citi, and she was forced to stand out in the crowd.

The day after her report was released, shares of Citi dropped tremendously, and days after that, Chuck Prince, the CEO of Citi, resigned from his position.

Whitney realized what many other analysts refused to believe. Bloomberg described her report, saying:
She pointed out that the company's dividend now exceeded its profits -- the bank was handing money back to its investors faster than it was taking it in from its customers. The U.S.'s biggest bank was being managed to ensure only its bankruptcy. Citigroup would need either to raise capital, sell assets or slash its dividend -- possibly all three.
This was a shocker for the market, but it only caused Whitney's reputation to grow. A month later she would issue equally provocative reports lambasting the Wall Street banks for being at the mercy of the credit rating agencies.

Whitney keeps it coming, and now her name is one of the most feared on the street. She is known for coming down hard on the big banks and has proven she knows what she's talking about.

She now says she gets death threats and harassing calls at her home and office on a regular basis. Apparently, some people don't like losing money when she calls out their stock.

But there's no need to worry about her safety, she's married to a former WWE-champion wrestler, John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL). He definitely knows how to bust a few Wall Street skulls if needed.

Biz Babes: Miss USA on Fox

Crystle Stewart, the current Miss USA , popped in over at Fox Business studios to explain how beautiful, successful and smart she is. Unfortunately, Neil Cavuto was also there.

Neil sets an uncomfortable tone at the start of the interview by alluding to how 'incredibly good looking' he is (1:15). Things escalate further when the animosity toward Rob Schneider becomes palpable at (1:41).
Overall, I think Crystle came off as very hot, well-spoken, intelligent and slightly biz savvy. Although anyone could be more impressive than Miss South Carolina.
